Last winter 2010/11 saw heavy snowfalls, record low temperatures, travel chaos and school disruption. Referred to as, ‘The Big Freeze’, it was the coldest winter on record in Britain for 31 years. B-Line are a family run business specialising in Stationery and Office supplies. We are currently looking for a valuable team member in our Stationery Sales department.

Your role will include:

Dealing with all aspects of customer and supplier queries via telephone, website and email.
Generating customer orders on our internal system.
Maintaining rapport with existing customers
Making outgoing calls to prospective customers and building on leads to help the business grow
Negotiating prices with suppliers and clients
Providing clients with the highest level of customer service
General administration tasks

The person:

You will have previous experience in a sales office environment. Experience working in Stationery or Office Supplies would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be an organised, professional and customer focussed team player with a can-do attitude.

In addition to this they will need to have:

Good computer skills
Excellent telephone manner
The ability to deal with people at all levels
A flexible and energetic approach
Good Time Management
